Become a Table Captain

Your table, your guests, and the effort you put into filling your table are the most critical elements in making our fundraiser a success. Please know that we appreciate your support; every dollar you help us raise at our fundraiser increases our outreach in this region!

  • Share this powerful event with your friends, associates, and individuals interested in Holocaust & genocide education

Put together a table of 10

  • Invite people to purchase tickets ($50/person with a minimum gift of $150) and to sit at your table.

When you invite guests to your table, you share with them that studying lessons about the Holocaust and modern genocide allows young people to learn about human behavior, social responsibility, moral courage, the importance of speaking out against intolerance, and the difference just one person can make.

Your guests will be inspired by Robert Herschkowitz’s remarkable commitment to creating a better world through education as a speaker, teacher, and past-president of the Holocaust Center Board.

Born in Belgium, Bob and his family escaped to France in 1940. After many harrowing escapes and separations, the family crossed the Alps on foot in September of 1943 and found refuge in Switzerland until the end of the war.

Our speaker will be noted Auschwitz scholar, professor, and author, Robert Jan Van Pelt. His latest book, Flight from the Reich, chronicles histories of refugees who escaped to freedom and life.
